I don't collect accessories or furniture, so it is just dolls and their clothing. I agree that's a lot of dolls, but too much? I think it is just about the right number...

I dont think that I've reached that "too many" mark just yet. EAch of my dolls has a special place in my life and I plan to continue to collect them for a long time. (hopefully I'll have a daughter to share them with someday). Right now they bring me lots of joy, and I dont feel overwhelmed with my collection. I'm glad that I'm not alone in my thinking.
I just needed to hear it from other collectors too

As long as you truly love the dolls your getting, I don't think you can ever have too many.

The "too many" issue is different for every person. Owning too many dolls for me is a matter of space. I probably have space for about 10 dolls and their stuff. But actual play with dolls is another issue. I rarely get out more than three dolls at a time to dress or photograph for a story. That being the case, if I ever find I own a doll that never gets taken out of storage, I will probably sell it.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I am not feeling insulted. Not at all... And no, I only have 3 AG dolls, but I have a bunch of Gotz dolls, Berenguers, Corolle, Apple Valley, etc. I think I have a whole bunch of money invested in dolls and a much larger bunch of money sunk into their wardrobe, so the total value may easily be more than the number above... I really, really, really enjoy my hobby.
